Mentor Match Meetings a success!

Thanks to everyone who came out this week to either the Mentor Match Meeting at Amgen or to the SeaVuria Meeting at Seattle BioMed!

Over 60 people came to Amgen to meet their matches and a big thank you goes out to Dr. Jan Chalupny who arranged for the rooms and the snacks!

Almost all of the students and mentors in the SeaVuria (Global Health Teams) category made it to Seattle BioMed on Wednesday.  Not only did everyone meet each other and start brainstorming about their collaborative projects, MaryMargaret Welch also gave out fabulous raffle prizes like big candy bars and fun things she brought back from her travels to Kenya!

A great time was had by all!  Thanks so much for being a part of the Expo community.  I’m working now on getting more Mentor Match meetings on the books at the UW and in SLU.  Word will go out when dates, times, and locations are confirmed!

Stay tuned!

Dr. J
